Raw' LT
It is a known fact that female MCs are rare in the male dominated hip-hop industry.  After decades of struggling to be heard, females are slowly making progress with artist such as Shawnna, Remy Ma, and Trina just to name a few.

Prepare yourself to be introduced to a female who is taking the dirty south by storm. Raw’LT, born Tiffany McNeil, is a 25 year young single mother who’s love for music is shown by here everyday grind.  Raw’LT began entering freestyle contest and showcases in 1999.  At that time she was attending Blinn Jr. College where she discovered her talent was definitely her passion.  Her first cameo appearance came in 2000 courtesy of independent label, Lockdown Records.  After only completing one semester at Blinn, Raw’LT returned back to Houston only to become pregnant with her now five year old son.  With a terrible work ethic within the work field, it was hard for her to maintain a steady job.  At that point she decided to pursue here recording career full time.

In 2005 Raw’LT linked up with Houston’s own {Big Bank Hank}, Kevin Starks, and discussed becoming and artist to his label BBH Entertainment.  The chemistry that the two have is unbelievable. Within two weeks after the discussion Raw’LT began working on her debut album entitled “Category 6”.  She has guest appearances by Paul Wall, Juvenile, and Bun-B to name a few.

“Category 6” is catalog of songs giving you an outlook on the life of a female in the dirty south.  “My Life” paints the portrait of her life coming up without a mother present and struggles that she went through with her unstable past.  “Both Ways” simple explains that women and do whatever a man can do.  Producers on the album include T.A of CTE/Def Jam, DJ Speedy of CTE, and Da’ Assassins.  There are no questions that go unanswered.  Raw’LT displays her versatility and demonstrates why she is the ‘Queen of tha Dirty Third”.

Raw’LT live performances are a shock to most who watch.  With the energy of a young teen she graces the stage with confidence and the image of a R&B singer rocking some heals and a dress.  “You can be hood and still be classy”, she admits to her fans.  Raw’LT has opened shows for artist such as Paul Wall, Nelly & the Saint Lunatics, Slim Thug, Bun-B, Pimp-C, Trae, Shawnna, Mike Jones, Chamillionaire, Juvenile, B.G., Gucci Man, and a host of others.

With her city behind her, a CEO who is dedicated to her success, and her love for life and music, Raw’LT is destine to make a mark in the male dominated industry we know and love.  If you don’t believe it, just be patient and keep your ear to the streets.
